Meet the Chief
I've devoted my life to promoting positive health and wellbeing through peer-support groups, training, counselling and a range of community based projects for the past 20+ years. I have a BA in Psychology, post-graduate Counselling qualifications. I also hold a Masters Degree in Creative Writing, am a qualified Hatha Yoga teacher and Laughter Yoga leader, and have a range of teaching and management qualifications.
I am passionate about giving people accessible knowledge and skills that help make everyday life fulfilling, joyful and badass.
When I'm not working with people as a counsellor in private practice or running workshops and webinars, I live an ordinary life, just like you. I haven't climbed Everest, I've never run a marathon or come first in my class. You won't see pictures of my feet in the sand on a tropical beach or hear stories you can't relate to, because I'm just like you.
I've had my fair share of challenges in life and I've definitely made mistakes. I juggle finances, cook meals, try to be a good parent, and spend too much time online.
I also eat what I like, laugh a lot, and have wonderful friends. And I couldn't be happier or more fulfilled because I've learned that being joyful doesn't depend on material things or external circumstances. I enjoy spending time with my son, especially getting outdoors and having adventures in our tiny campervan. I love to dance and I'm a lifelong student of mindful and embodied practices. And I'll give you a mean rendition of Dolly Parton on the ukulele if you ask nicely.
So everything I teach is a lesson I've learned myself, and I apply it every day. And I'd love it if you joined me because we're more badass together.
